Kate and me are going on holiday tomorrow!!! WOOHOO
About time we got away for a bit. Last break was back in June and that was only a few days. This is for a full week.
We're headed back to Cornwall again and hoping the weather will be reasonable. It's not looking too hopeful, but as long as we get a few days of sun that will be nice.
I get to borrow works digital camera too which I have to pick up from Maldon tomorrow. It's going to be an early start and a long drive - 6 to 8 hours I reckon.
On a different note, I got my book at last (see entry 32)! Actually, it arrived on Monday 6th September but it wouldn't fit through the letter box so I had to collect it from the sorting office. Finally got round to doing so today.
Kate's also had her car in for repair after that knock back in July - about bloody time you might say. I've been the taxi service for her the last 2 days. Repair company did a good job though. Looks as good as new - but then I guess that's the whole point :-)
Not too much else happening lately. I got an ID badge for work which keeps falling off it's clip, and I got a nasty bite on my arm. Must have been a big thing coz it has swollen up a lot, and gone very red and hot. Starting to get better now though - was a day or 2 ago that happened. Oh and I had my hair cut yesterday evening. Lots of comments from work today - it's a lot shorter than it was! Dare say it'll be noticeable on the pictures I'll take on holiday.
