Just got back from Southend-On-Sea.
Kate decided she wanted to go to the beach since the weather is so nice today. Isn't it strange how British weather can go from one extreme to the other!
We only went there for a couple of hours though, sat on the sea wall eating chips and a burger (or in Kate's case a sausage). It's nice sitting by the water. In a day like today, it is very tempting to go jump in but without a change of clothes that would have been a bit daft (didn't stop some people who were messing around there though).
The roads around that way are so incredibly busy though. I guess we should have expected it being a Saturday and all, but it did surprise us a bit at how difficult it was to park. Succeeded in the end though after a lot of driving around.
I've also been looking at the website for Corey Deitz - the author of the book I bought a few days ago (which I still haven't received by the way). It's quite good. Especially the Virtual CD section. I might have to record the breakfast show that he does. It goes out at about 11am our time (I think) and I'm generally at work then so I might set Cool Edit up so I can listen when I get back from work or something.

Just got an E-Mail from Amazon saying my book has been despatched! Hopefully I'll get it no later than Tuesday although they are using Royal Mail, so you never can tell :-)
